I'm building a ramp up the back garden and for the pathway i'm considering tarmacadam.
I have about 8 or 9sqm to cover.

Has anybody used Ready Mac Cold Macadam?
Wondering can open the bag, break it up, rake it around evenly before compressing it down.
Or is this stuff going to just be lumpy?

If it's fresh it usually "flows" relatively well and tamps down easily too. If it's old then the solvent will often have leached out or reacted to the water and can be lumpy, so check the manuf/use-by date if available.
