    Congratulations,

We are also purchasing a house in the Birchfields estate, but they are taking ages to process.

    Btw have you shifted yet?

I'm looking at a house in Birchfields myself at the moment and I'd love to know how you're finding it so far? Any info would be really helpful.

The houses are beautiful we finalized it immediately when we saw the house. After few days of the deposit, We got to know that the estate has alloted many social houses. Some of our friends said that you might get neighbors from hell, it's not safe to live there... blah blah... but this is stereotyping. We visited there the people were really nice. The area was quiet, the kids were playing. I believe if you are kind to people around you they are also kind to you.

If you like the house.. go for it.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

After signing contract it would take around 1.5 to 2 months because then the solicitor will give the contractor to sign the papers and this process might take time but by then you can start the snagging list to complete so that you can move asap after you get the keys.

Also try to push everyone to get it done before Christmas because after that they're gonna delay it most probably your solicitor or any person who is involved could go on holidays.

    Thanks

Hi there. We just moved in not too long ago .

Took approximately 4 months to finalise this purchase From paying deposit.

Stay on top of you solicitor. Be polite but persistent in demanding answers. We were emailing our solicitor 2 times a day .

Make sure you have good inspection of the house especially floor boards so you dont get squeaking like we did 🤦‍♂️
