Car radio tuning On when car is started

    Hi I am experiencing a different situation from today itself.. my vw golf mk7 GTI radio keeps turning on when I start my car.Do anyone knows how to fix it?

    No, the infotainment screen will always turn on when you start the car. Why is that an issue? Can’t you just set the volume to zero or mute and it will stay muted the next time you start the car?

    I'm confused. Isn't that the way all radios in cars work? As in they turn on when you start the car.

    Another thing you left out what do you want the radio to do when you start your car?

    on some cars if you turn the stereo off it stays off. Nowadays it’s reverse camera screen, phone etc in one system so most come on every time you start the car. Non issue really.
