Learner Driver.. Roundabout clarification

Hi learner beginner driver here ..I do have a doubt,While taking the second exit at the roundabout do I have to Indicate the right signal(as the Google map indicates the exit is past 12 o clock or I didn't indicate and after passing the first exit signal left.. Could anyone pls help me to understand this?

Don't indicate on approach and indicate left past the first exit. The 12 o clock rule is RSA dreamed up BS from a child's drawing of a roundabout, even the sign shows that the exit is straightahead.

My driving instructor told me to signal according to the advance layout sign and not for the actual physical layout. Left straight away for the first exit, and for the second exit nothing until after said first exit and then left, right for turning back.
