LG C3 or B4 plus soundbar

Hello! After a lot of research I am finally ready to take the plunge and buy a TV for the new house (we moved in 2 years ago !)

The room is a step down area at the end of the kitchen. It gets a lot of daylight and there is noise from the kitchen when appliances etc

With this in mind I am between 2 LG tvs and a suitable soundbar to pair with it (to be controlled by tv remote). The total max budget is 1500 euro

With the extra HDMI ports added to the B4 they seem to very similar now but the C3 may perform better in the bright room. Another factor however is I need the soundbar to fit under the TV and the B4 stand is more suitable.

I have no idea where to start with soundbars except that it needs to be less than 400 euro and fit under the TV.

Any help on pairing a soundbar with either TV (but most likely the B4) is much appreciated!

The 55B4 has 6.4cm between the bottom of the TV and top of the table it will be set on.

I use a Sonos beam at home with my C1 it sits 6.8cm high so it will sit over the bottom of the screen a little.

LG's own SQC4 sit at just 5.6cm in height so will fit the gap.

This is a good deal as it comes with a wireless suboofer and the rear speakers all included.

The like of the more expensive LG US60T sits at 6.3cm so just fits but is just 3.1 and includes a wireless subwoofer.

Hey KM79.

The USE6s would be a good alternative to the Sonos Beam. The USE6s can still play Dolby Atmos soundtracks.
It has Chromecast built in for streaming features and can process Dolby Vision and HDR10.

Thanks I bought the tv and UES6s soundbar at the weekend!

In terms of general set up I am wondering would people recommend turning AI Picture and Sound Pro on or off. I have set them to off now.

As it is a bright room I am using the Expert Brightness picture mode. However, this is not an option when using Firestick so using cinema for now until I can figure out what is going on there.

A bigger issue is the volume on the Firestick is now really low! It is coming through the soundbar but I had to set it to 100 to make movie watchable. Any advice on what could be wrong here greatly appreciated (and if there is a more appropriate forum on Boards I will post there).

Also, do I need to run a HDMI cable back to the XBox from the soundbar. The minimal instructions are very confusing!!! The sound is coming through from the Xbox fine but I did read that for 4k I may also need to run a HDMI cable out from soundbar to the Xbox.

The soundbar is currently connected to TV through HDMI3 Earc and xbox to HDMI 2 on tv .
