we got quote from a Qs to help us decide on design for house

two costs that are pushing us outside budget are

    1. air to water and under floor heating combination (vs just stuffing floors with insulation etc using current gas heating )
    2. En suite on main floor (we have 3 young kids)

While we can imagine a world with and without an ensuite, we haven't a clue re heating options. The primary goal of the house changes was to make the house warm , it gets very cold in winter as it's drafty, 1950s semi d

what are thoughts on insulating floors vs going all out on underfloor (35k in difference), will we regret not doing it??
