Hello, is there VAT and customs duties on:

    1. A car that was originally from the UK but registered in NI before January 2021
    2. A car that was originally from the UK and imported to NI after January 2021 but has been driven by in NI for the past 2 year.

    Thanks

No to both. As long you can prove dates etc.

Registration date in NI, provedd by the V5C (UK registration document).

You will absolutely need the V5C to register the car here.

Afaik since 1st May, car must have been registered to a private owner in NI for at least 3 months.
