Local elections

We are at present in the run up to the local elections …. but you wouldn't think it !! …. I have had not one candidate call …. 5 other people I have met said the same !! ….. others only got 1 ….. before this time you would have at least 2 …. are politicians just not inclined to go door to door any more ?? ….
