    Hi,

Where would I buy railway sleepers and how much would you expect to pay?

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

You can buy 'imitation' sleepers in most harware / builder provider places. They come as 8ft lengths of treated timber 20 x 10cm dimension.

For authentic actual railway sleepers you're looking at like of donedeal and salvage yards.

    Depends on conidtion but expect

30/35 for softwood treated with creosote.

    45 for hardwood untreated.
