got an aldi summerwaves active frame 3.6m pool on clearance sale last year, so now need to set it up. before i do, are there any precautions, accessories or other considerations that i should think about?

rural setting with plenty space - choice of hard, lawn or very small pebble surfaces. our own well, which is deep. with that much water, c7000 litres, could there an impact to the supply?

for drainage later in the year, i was thinking of syphoning gradually into the rainwater drain - do i need to neutralise chemicals before draining?

is there anything else i need to think about? some form of protective mat for underneath i presume and there's a cover included.

(mods, not sure if this is the right place for this thread, but couldn't really see any more relevant option)
