Eurosport annual standalone subscriptions to end

I had an email today, letting me know that my annual plans on Eurosport are coming to an end.

"If you have an active annual plan, unless you cancel your subscription as detailed below, your annual subscription plan will renew to a monthly subscription plan on your next renewal date on 19-06-2024. You will then be charged €6.99 per month unless you cancel before that renewal."

Any ideas on subscriptions? I've been buying the Annual pass €29.99 for the last 5 years.

Sounds like they’re forcing everyone onto Discovery+ so which is the 6.99 a month

4.99 a month now or EUR 50 per year. Looks like you are correct. Very annoying, as no doubt they'll increase the Discovery+ plans substantially once they have a sufficiently large customer base.

Although the Eurosport app was crap, so probably not a massive loss.

Eurosport streaming ends on 22 July. Obviously know that the Olympics is the time people are least likely to protest cancel the shift.

It’s free with a basic Sky package or at least free with mine.

Day after Tour de France ends at least. I live in NL and need to sign up to HBO Max (basic package with ads is 6€ a month, standard package is 10€). Then an extra 5€ a month for HBO Sports to watch cycling. Eurosport was 39.99€ a year. Going up to a minimum of 132€ a year, with ads.

Fcuk that, will be looking for some sort of dodgy box
