Has anyone ever had issues with iPhone face recognition and how did they fix it? I have an iPhone 13, face recognition stopped working all of a sudden, no damage or anything to the phone. I read somewhere online that if you tap the phone a few times off the palm of your hand it starts working again but only for a while and then stops again.

I tried Apple support who are telling me because the phone is 2.5 years old (2 years seems to be their limit) that it’s 511eur to fix it!! Crazy. The phone cost 1,110 eur and it is perfect condition so no physical damage etc.
Very annoyed!
