Ireland House Sale Statz show overall Irish property sale prices at an average €346k for the month of April 2024, a 1.73% decrease from the previous month of March. Property selling volume for the month of April consisted of 2,686 pre-owned sales and 591 new build sales. This brings the total new build sales this year to a figure of 2,442 which is nearly 24% fewer new build sales than this time last year.

As of April 2024, Dublin remained the most expensive county with a 12 month average property sales price now of €457k, an increase of 0.44% in April.

Leitrim seen the sharpest rise over the month of April with an increase of 3.26%, which now takes 12 month average property sale prices in the county to €190k. Sligo followed closely with an increase of 2.27%, while county Longford seen a decrease of 1.59%.
