Choosing and installing seat covers

    Hello,

So, I'd like to have waterproof seat covers, so that any spillages, pawprints, and so on don't damage the car seats. But so far, while I did get a few sets off Amazon or Halfords, I could never get them to install properly.

The front seats can be relatively easy as the covers slide over the back of each seat, though it's not always clear how to keep them from sliding from the front of the seat. The real problem is the back seat. The cover for it usually has two components, the bench and the back.

The bench cover simply refuses to stay put and slides off. The back cover can stay put while the back is up, but I could never find a waterproof seat cover that would properly support a 60/40 split, so I could fold one part of the back and leave the other up. It has to be either a two-part cover or else a zipper between the parts that goes all the way down.

So, are there any good covers to handle a split-folding back? And even more importantly, how does one make a cover stay on the bench of the back seat?

Or else maybe I should have them installed professionally? But where do I find professionals like that? I'm in Limerick.
