Dropped today and I have to say I'm looking forward to see how Hodge does at Cross.

watched tbe first episode last night and it seemed to introduce characters and a storyline very well, aldis is excellent and levels above the rest of the cast so far but it’s early days

Aldis Hodge is excellent and has buckets of charisma, but the actual show isn't really doing it for me so far I am only one episode in but it is a tad slow, and dark as in I am struggling at times to see what is going on?! Strange, no issue with other TV shows.

Loved the Cross books am glad to see they got the casting right for this, Hodge is what you expect Alex Cross to look like. As great as Morgan Freeman is he was never right to play cross in the movies. The same the Tom Cruise is no Jack Reacher.

    Watched one episode.

Concerned about the lack of diversity in the cast and the stereotyping of the token white guy as a serial killer.

I have been looking forward to this and watched the first episode earlier.

The story is interesting and the acting is great but Cross himself is written as an asshole.

It is a year since his wife’s murder and he has a girlfriend already?

He discovers that his wife’s killer (or at least an accomplice) has been in his house, in his kid’s bedrooms? And his response is get some CCTV and go to a dinner party? He should be freaking out. That doesn’t match with a guy mourning his wife and weakens him.

He claims to have turned down the FBI offer to be with his children but is swanning around with some new wan.

I watched the first episode last week, was put off by the ‘defund the poe lease’ politics nonsense, plus pegged the guy from ‘new amsterdam’ as the baddie instantly. Tried to give the second episode a chance but gave up after less than 10 mins.

I like Aldis Hodge, was a fan of Leverage back in the day and read lots of the Cross books years ago but won’t be revisiting this.
