Hi everyone apart from Beleek Woods does anyone know of any good walking trails/woods etc suitable for walking with dog on a lead. Heading to Enniscrone for a week end of August and struggling to find good walking trails apart from the beach which is fantastic but would like a few options.

    Thanks in advance

    Sooty

    The Greenway in Killala perhaps.

There are lots of roadways around the turbines on the Ox mountains, 15 min drive from Enniscrone. Stony paths, lovely views. Accessible from Kilbride bog, or just off the Tubbercurry road from Bonniconlon. There is a woodland walk just outside Moygownagh, about 3 or 4 km loop walk, about 30 min drive from Enniscrone.
