I have a Brazilian friend who has a waxing business in Cork city.

She waxes people from all corners of the earth, but Irish girls are the only ones that leave a layer of cheese on the waxing strip.

Not every time, but often enough for her to say Irish people are filthy. In general there's just an unwashed smell compared to other nationalities.

The order of cleanliness is:

1. South Americans
2. East Asians and South Asians (it's a tie)
3. Continental Europeans
4. Irish

She also waxes the butt hole, and she gives the ladies some wet tissue wipes to clean their bum before the waxing. One Irish girl wope their hole and scrope a line of poo up their own back. There was a brown line about half way up her back after using the tissue.

I'm sure Irish lads have sweaty dirty holes too, don't worry. If you know any South Americans they'll tell you there's a general pong from Irish people when you get on a bus or a train or walk into a pub or shop.

I actually don't remember being taught how to shower when I was growing up. Had to figure it out myself. Maybe this needs to be taught in schools.

Regardless of the weirdness of the op, hygiene levels can be awful.

Used to train recruits in the army and one part was to show them how to shower. Not just head and face, but armpits, crotch, arse, and feet. Even between the toes.

The Irish climate, our lack of beach and gym (up until recently) culture and the way people dress probably makes us sloppy. If you're covered in layers of clothing, shur nobody will notice if you haven't wiped your arse, cleaned your genitals or showered. You can get away with it to an extent until your clothes come off.

Also, if you have a dirty arse in a hot country, your arse may attract nasty flies and other insects that we don't have here. Also, every smell gets worse in heat.

I find that people from hot countries don't seem to spill food on themselves as much when eating and can wear white clothes all day without staining them. The women can wear skin tight white and light coloured yoga pants. I presume there is no room for error in terms of arse wiping with those while there would be room for error with darker colours.

Apparently the whole country needs lessons in showering. Do you know any South Americans? Ask them what they think of Irish people's hygiene and general cleanliness.

Yep, check my first post. Europeans are #3 down the list.

But the Irish are the worst. The only species that leaves cheese / porridge / scrambled egg looking material on the waxing strip.
