Griselina hedge has grown into tree like structure

Hi, there are griselina hedges in backyard and one of them has grown as tall as the house! Neighbour doesnt mind it and neither do I ( it does provide nice privacy screen actually) . The only thing that comes to mind is, are the roots going to affect building structure as that griselina tree is very close to the house.
