Moving fence that divides front and back garden

Hey The house here sits in the middle of a small site in a cul de sac. The boundary facing the road and neighbours is a leylandii that's around 1.5m tall, the rest is trees. In line with the front of the house there's a wooden fence 1.5m tall that goes out to meet the hedge. There's a gate on either side. My question is…

The house here sits in the middle of a small site in a cul de sac. The boundary facing the road and neighbours is a leylandii that's around 1.5m tall, the rest is trees.
In line with the front of the house there's a wooden fence 1.5m tall that goes out to meet the hedge. There's a gate on either side.
My question is what can I do with the fence, can I remove it? Can I bring it backwards? Can I change the angle it leaves the house (ie bring it forwards)?
