Just wondering if it’s odd for a new car to have those metal wheel balancing weights attached to the wheels? Not having a clue but would have assumed a new car should not need them. Is it something to be wary of when purchasing? Thanks

All wheels/tyres, new and old, need balancing.

Any new car I've owned had balancing weights.
