Sky News reporting that China is behind a hack on MOD payroll processor. This is in addition to an earlier hack of the UK Electoral register.
The exposure of serving Defence personnel data to China has multiple risks. It could easily be exploited to undermine UK security and defence.
It adds further fuel to ongoing geo-political tensions particularly with China being the obvious target of the AUKUS pact.
