Recent googling found that an account on GitHub called jasonmadigan published a home assistant integration that mimics the HKC API so you can integrate the alarm into home assistant without the use of a Konnect.

I don't have a WiFi or lan module installed yet so I haven't been able to test it. Just wondering if there is anyone on here that has? So I can justify getting a Lan or WiFi module installed.

Have been using this for a while. Uses the same API as HKC's new app. No issues so far.

Can you share some more details? (1) is there a specific HKC interface card which needs to be added? (2) This looks to poll every 60 seconds, does that mean if someone walks past a motion sensor, the event in Home Assistant could be up to 60 seconds delayed??

Read the caution note, the GSM-Wifi card is recommended. The mobile app polling time is apparently around 60 seconds as well.
