Android Auto disconnecting

Why would Android auto be continually disconnecting in my jeep when using a wired connection?

I Had Google maps going and Spotify. I then turned off Spotify in case it was a data issue. But same issue.

Any ideas how to resolve it as I do need the maps up frequently.

Most likely reason for constant disconnecting is the cable. Try a known good and Data rated cable. Quite often cheaper cables will charge a device but can have issues with data.

I got aawireless and no more wires few disconnections but better than wiring

Generally Anker cables through amazon are fairly bullet proof and not stupidly expensive.

I was having the same problem. Only thing that would fix it was a cable made by the phone manufacturer.

Swampy's advice is spot on. Anker are a decent shout. A decent quality USB 3.1 cable and you should be good to go. I have used these since last may without a problem.

The ones I linked are 18", I hate having long loops of cable if I can avoid it 👍
