Hi,I got redundancy notice saying that the company is going redundant day after tomorrow.

Is this really possible in Ireland?

It is not at all clear what you are saying….

A company does not go redundant, it can make positions redundant and as a consequence of that the persons holding those positions loose their jobs.

A company can become insolvent and as a result is forced to declare bankruptcy and when this happens and all employees loose their jobs.

And yes either can happen in Ireland, just like anywhere else.

    Indeed.

If insolvency happens, you can out of a job the day after tomorrow and have problems getting paid the wages you are due, much less your redundancy.

Eg look at what happened to the Body Shop.
