    Hi,

Late 40s & hair beginning to thin. Any recommendations for a clinic for treatment please?

Somebody mentioned the Bons Secure in Kerry but didn't have any review….

    Thanks in advance.

Firstly look to halt the hair loss if there is a history in the family. There are medications available. Then there are a few good clinics in Ireland so make some appointments and see what they recommend.

Sorry, a very delayed reply to your post

Thanks for the reply. Not much hair loss history that I know of.

I went to Galway MedAesthetics and they suggested PRP treatment. It's expensive but if it was guaranteed to get results I'd jump on it. Feedback seems to be very mixed though.

Currently I'm using Regaine and Vichy hair loss/growth shampoo.

PRP can help some people but you only really know after 3 sessions so it can be an expensive test. If you are male, then the only 2 proven products are minoxidil (Regaine) and prescription medicine which gets to the root cause of hairloss called finasteride in a 1mg tablet. Worth seeking with your GP about these as options. I use both so I am aware of the benefits.
