Neff Fridge not cooling

Does anyone have any tips for a Neff integrated fridge that is not cycling correctly. it's getting way too warm before the compressor kicks in (and then it does cool effectively). Unfortunately it has an electronic control panel (not the old style thermostat with the knob). I've tried replacing the panel but it didn't make any difference. To me it feels like it's not 'detecting' the rising temperature to trigger the compressor to come on but it's not obvious what else to replace (apart from the panel which I've already tried). Model no. is K4664x7gb/01. Thank you.

most likely a temperature sensor rather than the pcb, it’s the temp sensor that controls the board
