    Hello,

So, a minor, an Irish citizen, wants to fly alone from Ireland to the Netherlands. Both parents are fine with that, and Aer Lingus lists 12 as the minimum age of flying alone. He does. of course, have a passport.

However, there is the question of passing border controls both in Ireland and in the Netherlands.

Is there some kind of documents that the parents can provide to ensure the border control on both ends lets him through? Or is this outright impossible?
