Hi,

I have seen a item from Wildhunter Wholesales based in Ireland, that I would be interested in purchasing. The spec. that is provided seems quiet good for the price.

The only issue is that there is no Manufacturers name on this product!

I asked the shop and they confirmed this with "Hi there is no name on the camera sorry"

Would you purchase this item or should I leave it go?

What guarantees should I ask for if I was to purchase this item?

Any advice or help will be appreciated.

If so, I wouldn’t worry too much about the brand itself. The entry level ones are all made by unknown Chinese factories. Even if it did have a name on it, it would mean next to nothing.

As for guarantee, your warranty will be with the seller (Wildhunter Wholesale) under EU law. As with any online purchase, you can return it (unused) in the first 14 days for any reason. After that, EU law states that you have to have a minimum of 2 year warranty. Check the seller’s warranty T&Cs for details. But it’s up to the seller to sort you out, not the manufacturer. As a local Irish seller with a phone number and an address in Athlone (so you could knock on their door if you wanted), I’d be confident enough about buying from them,

EU law also stipulates that you must give the consumer a minimum 2-year guarantee (legal guarantee) as a protection against faulty goods, or goods that don't look or work as advertised. In some countries national law may require you to provide longer guarantees.
