Best bike for a beginner

Hi there, I don't cycle. Actually I "learned" how to ride a bike when I was 15, but I haven't cycled since then. I'm now 35, and a few years ago, when I tried to cycle again, I found myself unable to. Maybe I've forgotten how to cycle, or perhaps the 30kg I've gained over these years is preventing me from cycling - the bike was also not ideal for me...

Now I live in a place with a good cycling path, so I'm considering getting a bicycle. What would you suggest for a total beginner? I'm looking for something super cheap since I'm uncertain if I'll stick with it, and I need the easiest bike to cycle.

I also wonder what would be the ideal size, I am 171cm and 89kg

    Thanks

Don't overthink it. Maybe ask friends / family if they have abike in a shed, I'll bet there are several liening aournd. Borrow it, pump the tires, make sure teh brakes work and give it a try. If you get into it there will be load sof time to complicate the process with bike types, gear, tech etc etc. For now just find a bike, any bike and see how you go.
