    Hello all.

So I am curious to know if anyone on here remembers the severe thunderstorms that moved through eastern Ireland, especially Dublin City Centre in the early morning hours of July 2nd 2009?

I was unfortunately not here for that event, but the mcs caused major flooding throughout Dublin City Centre, in particular around temple street children’s hospital. There are a few clips of the storm on YouTube, although the audio quality is not the best.

After the early morning mcs for all the widespread flooding it caused, another round of severe thunderstorms developed over western counties with even heavier rainfall in the afternoon and evening.

I was in Florida when it happened but I remember my parents reading an article from one of the newspapers about it. The thunder was very loud on some of the clips I have listened to.
