PPSN Number

Recently moved from Scotland to the Republic of Ireland and I am finding wall after wall issues in regards to getting set up in my area. Can't get a bank account ppsn needed. Can't get job seekers ppsn needed. Can't do nearly anything without getting this sorted but with trying to apply for one has been an absoulte headache in it's self. Can anyone who has moved from the uk to ireland give me advice on getting started here.

Why move from Scotland to Ireland and get a ppsn number to go on the dole?

Would actually seeking a job not be preferential to getting job seekers?

There's loads of jobs here so that's not an excuse.

And all require a PPN for income tax and a bank account to be paid. You know nothing about the circumstances of the op’s move nor occupation.

So take a day off from the right wing nonsense and offer the op some constructive advice which might help in getting a job.

Incidently, job seekers is a benefit paid while you seek employment. The description should have given it away to you.
