Maternity leave contract for the full year. How does tax work?

There’s an offer of a maternity leave contract for the whole year, (22 hrs).. works out I’ll get paid the same as I would with a fixed term yearly contract, but will be paid over 33 weeks rather than over the whole year.

My question is, will I get taxed more? I’ll be earning more each fortnight than I would with a 52 week contract, so would I get taxed more?

Anyone have any experience with this?
