Hawthorn Hedge in North east of Ireland

    i see i can still buy bare-root hedge online, is it too late to plant a hawthorn hedge now in the Louth area?

    how many plants would you recommend for a 20m run, is it 3 per metre which is 60 plants or would i need more.

    i need to fix a gap in a hedge.

    November to March is the ideal but you'd probably get away with it now. 50cm apart is my preferred spacing and I usually did a double row, for extra thickness.
