I live alongside a train line in Dublin city centre between Clontarf and Connolly. For the last month or so there has been something beeping (3 beeps in a row every 2 minutes) and it sounds like it's coming from the train line at the end of my street.
It's like a dead / dying smoke alarm but definitely out doors. Could it be some kind of track / signal monitor?
I've tried calling Irish Rail but no answer yet. Any ideas?
