Hi all

I have created some routes on strava. And when me and my partner save them to our respective units ( hers 1030 mine 1040 ) mine might show 10 hills on the route but hers is always less usually about 5 .. has anyone any idea why this is please..

I know it's not a huge thing but am just wondering.

I'm on Hammerhead but I think you can change a setting which decides what is counted as a hill/ Your climb sensitivity may be higher. Is she missing the smaller climbs?

Thats unusual, I share a lot of my routes to a friends garmin and never noticed a difference.

Edit: looking at my 1040 now, I don't select Data Screens, I choose "Climbs" from the Activity profile options

Within this their is a setting in climb pro.. for different levels of climbs.. a) all climbs

B) medium to large climbs

C) large climbs

It was set to (b) which was annoying for the person because we were doing a very hard spin in girona with lots of climbs and it's good to see and prepare for what's ahead..
