Accurate calculator to compare money from past years.

As above I'm looking for a reliable calculator comparing say £15k from the 1970's to todays money The ones I've come across the no's seem pretty wild.

The CSO have a calculator here, you'll need to convert £ to € yourself first though.

Inflation impacts products differently. Housing for example inflation is about 4400% vs 1974.
So if the €15k was invested in housing, you'd be looking a a value of €660k today.
