Government assisted house buying schemes

I've been living in the UK for over 30 years but am curious, does Ireland have any government assisted house buying schemes like the UK "shared ownership" where you but part of a property and rent the other part off a housing association ?

Used to have about 20 years ago but not now. I am open for correction. But for new houses, they have help to buy schemes.
