Is this area safe in general for housing!!

    Any specific school recommendations!!

How is commute to city centre twice a week on public transport.

You might be better off asking in the Dublin W15 forum.

The surrounding area is fine, you're looking at a new estate but it's adjacent to the well established 'real' Hollystown and then relatively new Hollywoodrath.

Public transport twice a week is fine, you've a choice of two bus routes, one direct to the city, the other links with the Luas or train in Broombridge.

Fingal and it's councillors celebrate new housing development announcements but don't think as to where the people will go to school. You've 3 or 4 primary schools in the immediate vicinity and one a short car trip away, so primary places should be fine. It'll be secondary which will be the issue though, there's one secondary school there which obviously is in big demand for places, I think there's another due to be be started soon enough so by the time your kids need a place you could be ok.
