Had our 2018 Leaf in for the N.C.T. today. Passed with no issues.

I was told by the inspector that the car should have at least 50% charge before the test, think it was just over that so was fine.

I’ve never heard of this , has anyone else?

Don’t listen to him. I put cars through with 0km of petrol all the time. No different in an EV.

    I put a L24 through with 18% recently. Don’t mind him.

Ask him to show the requirement on paper for an EV to have at least 50% battery.

Wonder if it include heavily degraded batteries 😋
