Premium Petrol vs Normal Petrol ?

    Hi Guys,

    Is there any real advantage in using premium petrol? Usually it costs 5 cents more than the normal one. Just curious!

    No. The premium diesel is better in some cars, the premium petrol makes zero difference in all cars.

    I’ve always been of the view that there’s no difference.
    A marketing stroke.

    Probably comes out of the same tank.

    I think the fact that they're all E10 now would suggest the existing "premium" E5 petrol is now the same as the E10 petrol with all the ethanol and add ons etc
