    Asking for a friend. My friend in a regional town is seriously in need of housing with 3 kids living in cramped conditions.

    She has a letter from Respond Social Housing. Can any tell what sort of time frames they work on based on a line in a letter?

    "Respond expects to have a vacant property soon from letting, and we requested nominations from the local authority from their housing waiting list."

    My friend got an offer about 3 weeks after Respond told her they were close to finding her a house.

    In two weeks she hopes to have keys.
