I occasionally enjoy listening to some jazz , quite fancy a jazz night with cocktails. But I don't really know anything about it, so I find myself scrolling ticketmaster and I don't know what would be a good night.

Could someone please suggest some gigs or venues ? I'm Dublin based.

The Sugar Club get some good international acts in but they are usually far from smooth.

Have a look at the United Arts Club. My brother was in there a few weeks ago for an afternoon session - you don't have to be a member to get in.

Arthur's Blues & Jazz Club on Thomas St is another which does regular night shows but I have no idea of what it's like.
