Gaps in Motor Tax Concern

Did a Motorcheck on a car I'm looking at and the only issues that came up where not valid NCT and gaps in Motor tax.

No NCT doesn't really concern me as it's been sitting in a dealership since before the expiry date and I know dealers will wait till they have a buyer before doing the NCT.

But the tax I'm unsure of. Obviously I'll ask the dealer if they have any info but is there any major concerns that this raises or specific questions I should ask?

The car has had two owners total so it's a bit strange that both owners would have so many gaps in taxing the car. I don't really know what to make of it tbh.

If you forget to tax your car for 1 day it shows as a gap. Its a non issue.
