Replacing an engine in a car.

    Hi - I have engine trouble in my car & need to replace the engine. Does anyone know what I need to do after I replace the engine. The replacement engine will be the same make, model & spec & will be replaced by my local mechanic (not a main dealer).

    There is an old thread from 2015 so I am just looking for some up to date info on what steps (in any) that I need to do) re : log book or insurance ?
