Hi, I've got a wooden picture frame with a natural finish I'd like to paint of a dark green colour, but I'd like some advice on how to do this properly. A couple of questions:

    • Would I need to sand the wood slightly before painting?
    • What type of paint would I need to get this done and where would I be able to find it?
    • Would I need to apply some kind of finish to get a slight matt finish?

    Thanks!
