Grass growth retardant

Does anyone know where I can get grass growth retardant at a reasonable price ? Most places seem to sell 5 litre tubs of it, which is grand for the likes of golf clubs and sports pitches but not a normal sized garden. Something like Primo Maxx would be ideal.
