Planter question

    Hi,

I’ve just bought a replacement 24” diameter oak planter to keep a shrub in - the original one has rotted.

The planter is charred on the inside.

Is it better to use a liner or not?

I’ve seen conflicting advice, but I’m leaning towards no liner.

    Thanks

No good reason not to use a liner for me, compost bags are ideal.
