    Hi.

I'm 49. I would like to play trumpet. It's something I have always wanted to try.

Any advice greatly appreciated. Have never tried before.

Where are you based? Contact a local brass band or concert band, they may be running adult lessons or be able to direct you to someone.

It's a difficult instrument and will take a lot of practice to consistently get any kind of nice sound out of it, but if it's something you've always wanted to do then you'll enjoy it.

    Good luck!
