Looking for house alarm recommendations and potential gotchas to watch out for for such as hidden charges or unreliable services.

I have home secure for a couple of years now. Free installation at the time and about €32 per month monitoring. Contract was for 2 years as a Black Friday deal. 4 door sensors and 4 motion sensors. The app is good and they get in touch quite quickly if anything goes off or if there's a power cut. They're owned by the same company as Phone watch. I hope that helps
