I’ve been put to half pay due to a long illness

I’ve been put to half pay during a long illness but I am now back to working full time, I wanted to get back asap but was told by docs you’re not ready yet, finally work doc told me to go back full time and my own doctor. I’m back working full time but my last pay was half time. Does anyone know how long it takes to return to full pay after being on half pay? I work in public sector. Thank you

If you’re back at work you should be on full pay but it might take payroll a while to sort. A couple of weeks tops. It should eventually be backdated to when you returned.

You usually work a back 2 weeks so will be in your wages in 4 weeks time.
